"OH MY DAYS" was uttered by interviewers when discovered something new or unexpected about their school, or how schools used to be.
The Victorian buildings which house
Each scale model was build to record particular spaces around the school, through headphones the audience could hear memories that correlated with each space.
the scale models were build by Jack Brown, and the Audio archive embedded in the scale models collected by a group of 8 pupils and edited by Oral Historian Carrie Harvey.
year 5 + 6 Pupils added their 'Memory Boxes' to the exhibition, there was an interactive cloakroom, images of the schools log books ( recording the schools life during World War 2 and detailing its Evacuation to St Leonard's on Sea ). There was an opportunity to leave your own memories of school life on a 'school notice board' and over 100 visitors did......
