Artworks produced whilst lead artist in residence + over all project information

Three months of events and collaborations + Four artists in residence + Exchanges between the local and artistic community. Open every Saturday 12 till 5. 16th July - 18th September 2011

As my practice becomes more socially engaged, as I start to manage projects, work collaboratively, I'm interested in how I control/allow the collapse of boundaries between work, art-making, employment and making things I want to make.
The following images/clips are a collection of the work I am making whilst working in and around Exchange project space.

collapse - Exchange project space. laminate wood and potatoes. 2011.

Working on the bottom of primary school tables. painting in response to marks left by pupils drawing on the underside of the tables. Tables will be delivered back to school and put back in classrooms. I will not tell staff or pupils about the paintings.

I will also be collecting prints. I will be taking prints from the windows of buses that travel to or through Hackney Wick. I will take prints of the grease marks left by passengers hair on the inside of bus windows. these prints are taken using powdered graphite and cellotape. one of these prints will be projected onto canvas and painted. ( above image if previous print painting 2009 )

Collecting prints - 16th August - Buses around Hackney Wick, Mile End, Bow and Canary Wharf.
